There are many ways parents can volunteer to help make our PTO events a success. Below is a brief description of PTO Volunteer opportunities.
If you are interested in participating in any of the events, please complete the sign-up form on this page and the information will be forwarded to the Event Chair(s). Food Bank Bingo - January 2012 Event Chairs - TBA Volunteers are needed to help during the event selling baked goods, checking bingo numbers and passing bingo prize basket, as well as set up and clean up. Sweetheart Dance - February 2012 Event Chairs - TBA Volunteers needed for set up, raffle ticket sales and clean up. Boys' Event - March 2012 Event Chair - TBA Would you be interested in organizing a boys' event in March? Your ideas would be greatly appreciated. Walk-a-thon - Spring 2012 Event Chair - TBA This is a new event that will take place during the school day in the month of October. Help will be needed on the day of the event. Teacher Appreciation Week - April 2012 Event Chair - TBA Volunteers are needed to help create and organize various activities for the teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Family Fun Night - May 2012 Event Chair - TBA Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, assistance during the event as well as clean up. Fifth Grade Promotion - June 2012 Event Chair - TBA Volunteers are needed to help organize promotion activities for fifth grade students. Fifth Grade BBQ - June 2012 Event Chair - TBA Volunteers are needed to help organize end of the year outing for 5th grade. Yearbook Committee Event Chair - Sonda Pimental Volunteers are needed to help with organizing the school yearbook, including taking photos of activities during school as well as at school events. Help create a special keepsake for our students. Community Service Committee Event Chair - Steph de Abreu Volunteers are needed to prepare the school grounds for Mumfest fall planting and spring planting day, as well as watering the grounds. Environmental Committee Event Chairs - Wendy Joering & Erin Roche Volunteers are needed to prepare the school grounds for Mumfest fall planting and spring planting day, as well as watering the grounds. Community Donations Coordinator Reach out to local businesses for monetary donations Public Relations Coordinator Donate time to publicize our activities and the donations of our contributors. On Call Volunteers On call volunteers would be contacted on an “as needed basis” as unexpected volunteer needs arise during the school year.
